Polythane HS462 is a glossy polyurethane topcoat, cured with aliphatic isocyanate. The product has very good gloss and colour retention and contains zinc phosphate. Complies with EU Directive 2004/42/EC, The Paints Directive on the limitation of volatile organic compounds: subcategory j.
Polythane HS462 is recommended as a VOC-compliant, high-build finishing coat for protecting structural steel in severely corrosive environments. The product may be specified as a one-coat ” direct-to-metal” system in environments classified as C2 and C3. It may also be applied directly to galvanized steel.
